The Climate Action Plan meeting (CDA had with Camden Council) was on a very important topic that it’s good to talk through local solutions on and it’s good that Camden Council wanted to involve disabled people and are trying to make Camden greener.

However, I felt that they had come with their own set agenda which didn’t align with what we wanted to talk about in terms of access issues and wider systemic issues.

It also felt like if we had been involved at an earlier stage of the Climate Action Plan, co-designing it with Camden Council, then the meeting and plan would have been more relevant to disabled people’s needs.

There was also no sense of how our contributions in that meeting would be used or any follow-up about this from the council.
